Work NW Alberta Partnership

A digital marketing strategy for vital talent attraction and retention

Like many rural destination economies, sectors across Northwest Alberta are increasingly facing difficulty in finding and keeping employees due to increased competition for skilled workers across the country. The Work NW Alberta Partnership was formed in response to a growing need to connect businesses with candidates in the region.

The Work NW Alberta Partnership engaged Resonance to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and website to aid in attraction and retention of talent in the Grande Prairie-Greenview Corridor. The objective was to create a resource and hub for potential talent and residents to explore the abundance of the Grande Prairie-Greenview Corridor, while showcasing its booming economy, breathtaking landscapes, a warm sense of community and connectivity.

As part of the project, Resonance successfully provided strategic guidance and project management to a 10-member Steering Committee and led the development of a three-year marketing strategy and implementation plan including extensive market research, marketing goals and objectives and tailored communications tactics to deliver on key performance metrics established by the Partnership.

As a first step to rolling out the plan, Resonance managed UX, design and programming for the Work NW Alberta website with a focus on highlighting employment benefits, opportunities, and resources in Northwest Alberta.
