Brunei Darussalam Travel & Tourism Master Plan / Policy / Strategy Report with Tourism Satellite Account and Forecast

Although Brunei has been popular for adventure travelers and other niche markets for several decades, the first serious efforts to promote Brunei tourism abroad were made less than 15 years ago. In collaboration with the Ministry of Industry & Primary Resources, this report prepared by Resonance Principal Richard Cutting-Miller for the World Travel & Tourism Council identified products and policies required to grow the country’s Travel & Tourism industry. Recommendations included development of improved airline service, the enhancement of product and service quality, raising awareness and support for the industry within government and the public at large, and the establishment of an appropriate mix of hotels and other forms of accommodation to meet anticipated demand.
