Malaysia Travel & Tourism Master Plan / Policy / Strategy Report with Tourism Satellite Account and Forecast
In the late 1990s, a number of Western travel and tourism companies sought information on the potential for tourism and business travel development in Malaysia and insights into the potential obstacles to expanding and growing their business. The Malaysian government also sought research to assist in its efforts to attract direct foreign investment into the nation’s travel and tourism industry. This report created by Resonance executive vice president Richard Cutting-Miller contained economic projections for the growth of travel and tourism in Malaysia and a series of policy recommendations to maximize its potential for economic development and job creation. The report was commissioned by the Malaysia Ministry of Tourism and World Travel & Tourism Council.
